Mrs. Rice, or “Mamaw” as we knew her, was a very special person. She raised a very loving family, and was blessed in her final years to have that love returned. We will miss her sassy photos and sweet smile. Prayers for the family. ❤️

Sad to hear. She and Mr. Rice were friends of my family all the years we lived on Old Quicksand Road; she being the last of our old neighbors. Prayers for her family.

What a beautiful and nice lady. Mrs Rice and her husband John were so nice to me. I remember getting dental work done one Saturday in Jackson. When Dr. Rice finished he informed me that there would be no charge. He said you are working your way through school at Berea College and we want to help you. Mrs. Rice was always upbeat and loved her family. I will miss seeing her smiling face.
