Virginia Oberlin Johnson, age 79, of Jackson, KY passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at the Clark Regional Hospital in Winchester, KY.  She was born June 5, 1944 in Lebanon, OH and was the daughter of the late Arthur and Hazel Wilder Oberlin.  She was also preceded in death by her husband: James Johnson.  Her son: Robert Johnson.  She is survived by two sons:  James Edward Johnson, Jr and David Oberlin Johnson of Jackson, KY.  A special daughter: Shirley DeLong of Jackson, KY.  Two grandsons:  Cody James Paul Johnson and Justin Campbell.  One granddaughter: Amanda Oberlin and two great great grandchildren. She is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.   A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 4:00 pm at the Hilltop Full Gospel Church at Zoe, KY with Billy Hensley and Tony Charles officiating.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
