Vickie Herald Johnson, age 61, of Jackson, KY passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at Landmark of Breathitt Nursing Facility in Jackson, KY.  She was born December 28, 1961 in  Jackson, KY and was the daughter of the late Johnny Herald.  She is survived by her mother: Lula Deaton Herald of Jackson, KY.  Two sons: Randy Lee (Melissa) Johnson,  and Johnny (Kayla) Johnson, Jr.  both of Stanton, KY.  One brother: Randy (Betty) Herald of Jackson, KY.  One sister:  Peggy Barker of Jackson, KY.  Five grandchildren:  Peyton Johnson, Jennifer Johnson, Shelby Lynn Johnson, Nancy Grace Campbell, Peyton Campbell.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with John Phipps officiating.  Burial in the Herald Family Cemetery, Miller Branch, Elkatawa, KY.    Visitation will begin on Tuesday from 5:00-9:00 pm.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
