Stanley “Buck” Vires, age 72, of Jackson, KY passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2019, at the Lee County Nursing Home in Beattyville, KY.-He was born March 8, 1947, in Breathitt County, KY and was the son of the late Fitch and Golden (Banks) Vires.-He was also preceded in death by three sisters:  Audrey Lucas, Irene Spencer, Ann Spencer.-He is survived by wife: Dorothy (Thompson) Vires of Jackson, KY.-Two daughters: Rita Lawson of Jackson, KY.-Deanna (Brandon) Alsept of Jackson, KY.-One son: Clifford Vires of Jackson, KY.-Five sisters:  Katherine Vires, Pam(Bobby) Shelton, Sherry (Tony) Collins, and Jocie (Eddie) Banks; all of Jackson, KY.-Judy (Mike) Southers of Campton, KY.-One brother: Earl (Sharon) Vires of Beattyville, KY. Three grandchildren: Baylor Alsept, Lucas Lawson, Katy Lawson.-Two great-grandchildren: Easton Combs and Evalynn Caudill. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 29, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with David McIntosh officiating.-Burial in the Vires Family Cemetery, Mt Carmel, KY.-Visitation will begin on Saturday at 5:00 p.m.-Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.-Pallbearers: Family and Friends.
