Nancy Margerita Thompson, age 85, of Booneville, KY passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at the Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, KY.  She was born March 22, 1938 in Hazel Green, KY and was the daughter of the late Elisha and Bessie Taulbee Chambers.  She was preceded in death also by her son: Rocky Dean Thompson.  Brothers:  Charles Chambers, Denzil Chambers, Gerald Chambers, Billy J. Chambers.  Sisters:  Arnita Stovall, Avanell Lambert, Naomi Scott, Marcella Boyd.  She is survived by her husband: Robert B. Thompson of Booneville, KY.  Son: Rickey (Becky) Thompson of Booneville, KY.  Daughter: Cristy (Glenn) Farler of Hazard, KY.  Brother: Cleveland Chambers of Booneville, KY;  Sisters:  Karen Mahon of Germantown, OH and Anna Mae Charnesky of Mt. Sterling, KY.  Two grandchildren:  Joshua (Kirstie)Thompson and Stephanie Thompson (Lincoln).  Eight great grandchildren:  Joshlynn Thompson, Apple Thompson, Jeremiah Thompson, Savannah Thompson, Reylin Thompson, Sophia Stacy, Isabella Stacy, Hannah Stacy.  She is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with David Turner, Mike Riley and Carl Johnson officiating.  Burial in the Cow Creek Church Cemetery, Booneville, KY.  Visitation will begin on Sunday beginning at 11am until time of service.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
