Lula Gail Neace, age 50, of Jackson, KY passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at the Landmark of Breathitt Nursing Facility in Jackson, KY.  She was born January 12, 1973 in Hazard, KY and was the daughter of the late Codell Neace.  She is survived by her mother: Rosa Miller Neace of Jackson, KY.  Her faithful companion:  Richard Pelfrey, Jr of Jackson, KY.  Her son: Brian Johnson of Hazard, KY.  Her daughter: Tiffany (Tim) Branson of Hazard, KY.  Four sisters:  Linda Neace (Donald) of Campton, KY; Carlie (Bobby) Cornett of Jackson, KY; Mary Neace of Jackson, KY; Elizabeth (Erwin) Lucas of Whitesburg, KY.  Her brother: Ronnie (Laura) Neace  of Whitesburg, KY.  Two grandchildren.  She is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 9, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Justin Smith officiating.  Burial in the Ivy Point #2 Cemetery, Ned, KY.  Visitation will begin on Sunday October 9 from 5:00-9:00 pm.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
