Kathleen B. Alberts, age 70, of Jackson, KY passed away on Sunday August 30, 2026, at her residence. She was born November 19, 1955, at Guage, Kentucky and was preceded in death by her parents: Mitchell Bays and Ella Brown Bays.  Husband, Norman Alberts. One brother, Charles James Bays. Niece, Katessa Bays. Kathleen was a United States Air Force Veteran.

She is survived by her son, Roy Mitchell McClees & Becky Isaac of Jackson, KY.  One brother, Oscar Ray Bays of Monticello, KY. Sisters-in-law, Bessie Bays of Berry, KY, Edith Courtney of Jackson, KY, Ann Sipe of Jackson, KY; Special cousin, Barbie Bays, Uncle: Mac Arthur Brown & Rosalie of Waynesfield, OH.  Aunts: Betty & Dave Dean of Banner, KY, Martha Prater & Andy of Waynesfield, OH.  Grandchild: Josephine Turner & Raven.  Great-grandchildren, Haelyn and Malakai. She is also survived by a host of friends and family.

Funeral Services for Kathleen B. Alberts will be conducted on Sunday September 6, 2026, at 4:00 P.M. at the Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Todd Brown officiating. Burial in the Jackson Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Sunday September 6, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. at the Deaton Funeral Home Chapel. Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
