James “Jimmy” Parks, age 74, of Salt Lick, KY passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2020, at his residence in Bath County, KY.-He was born March 9, 1945, in Hammond, Indiana and was the son of the late James Parks and Fairlena (Smith) Parsons.- He was preceded in death by one son: James Noble and granddaughter: Ashley Pauline Parks.-He is survived by his wife: Marie (Hurt) Parks of Salt Lick, KY.- Six daughters: Tammy Parks of Austin, IN; Patty (Steve) Lowry of Scottsburg, IN; Jennifer (Danny) Fey of Frankfort, KY-Bonita (Brandon) Coomer of Jackson, KY-Crystal (John) Ortiz of Lexington, KY; Crystal (Jarrod) Harris of Anderson, IN; Four sons: John (Juanita) Parks and Bobby Noble of Salt Lick, KY-James Parks, JR of Austin, IN; Jason (Kayla) Parks of Buckhorn, KY.- Two sisters: Sandy (Doug) Haney of Frankfort, KY; Vickey Jordon of FL.-One brother: Ricky Parks of IN.- Twenty three grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.-Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2020, at 1:00 pm at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Tommy Evans officiating.-Burial in the Smith Cemetery at Wolverine, KY.-Visitation will begin on Tuesday at 5:00 p.m.-Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
