James Elbert Cole, age 64, of Covington, KY passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at the St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Edgewood, KY.-He was born September 22, 1954 in Breathitt County, KY and was the son of the late Alex and Lillie (Raleigh) Cole.-He was preceded in death by his wife: Lottie Gail Cole.-One brother: Alex Dale Cole. -One great great grandson: Isaiah D. Cole.-He is survived by two sons: James Alex Cole and Jason D. Cole of Covington, KY-Two sisters: Rachel Rebecca (Ben) Strong of Little, KY-Betty (Mike) Herald of Newport, KY-Four grandchildren: Shawn Cole, Heather Cole, Seth Cole, Austin Cole.-Four  great grandchildren: Kayden Cole, Isaiah Cole, Lillie Cole., Alexis Cole.-Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Pat Turner officiating.-Burial in the Alice B. Turner Cemetery at Talbert, KY.-Visitation will begin on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m.-Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.- In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to Deaton Funeral Home.
