James Combs, age 62, of Altro, KY passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2019, at the Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, KY.-He was born August 26, 1957, in Breathitt County and was the son of the late Goley and Mary (Pruitt) Combs.-He was preceded in death by one sister: Minnie Belle Bennett. -Two brothers: Levi Combs and Luther Ray Combs.-He is survived by five sisters: Flossie Stamper of Booneville, KY.-Myrtle Fugate of Franklin, OH; Edna Mae Moore and Rose Cole of Altro, KY.- Ollie Williams of Hamilton, OH.-Five brothers: Jacie (Carol) Combs of Gatesville, TX; Floyd (Jean) Combs; Gene (Jessica) Combs and Gary Combs of Altro, KY.-Homer Combs of Booneville, KY.-Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Chris Turner officiating.-Burial in the Belcher and Combs Cemetery, Hwy 315, Booneville, KY.-Visitation will begin on Saturday at 11:00 a.m.-Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
