Gobel Fugate, JR, age 81, of Jackson, KY passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at the Nim Henson Nursing Home in Jackson, KY–He was born June 11, 1937 at Hardshell, KY and was the son of the late Gobel and Ethel (Campbell) Fugate.–He was preceded in death by one sister: Laura Allen.–Three brothers: Willard Fugate, George Fugate and Oscar Fugate.–He is survived by one sister: Minerva (Billy) Clemons of Hardshell, KY–One brother: Lonzo (Rebecca) Fugate of Hardshell, KY.–Two sisters in law: Shirley Fugate and Patricia Colleen Fugate.–He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.–Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Eldon Miller and Emmitt Campbell officiating.–Burial in the George Fugate Family Cemetery, Russell Branch Road, Clayhole, KY.–Visitation will begin on Saturday at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.–Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.–Pallbearers: Family and Friends
