Dwayne Rocky Hamilton, age 61, of Hammond, IN passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2026, in Hammond, IN. He was born March 13, 1965, in Hammond, IN. and was the son of the late Roy Cecil Hamilton.

He is survived by his mother: Ogie Lea Jones Hamilton of Winchester, KY.  His life partner, Rita Schaab of Hammond, IN. Special Dog, Charlie. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday September 24, 2026, at 1:00 pm. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Drewey Lee Jones officiating. Burial in Jackson Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Thursday from 11:00-1:00 pm. Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
