Clay Henson, Jr. age 77, of Whick, KY passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at the Landmark of Breathitt Nursing Facility in Jackson, KY. He was born August 10, 1946 at Ary, KY and was the son of the late Clay and Rosa Mae Marshall Henson. He was also preceded in death by brothers: Ralph Henson, Raleigh Henson and Ray Henson. He is survived by his wife: Betty Sue Bellamy Henson of Whick, KY. Two sons: Artineus (Susan) Henson of Morehead, KY and Carlos (Loretta) Henson of Lexington, KY. One daughter: Marineus (Layvon) Moore of Whick, KY. One sister: Emma Arnett of Winchester, KY. Grandchildren: Jack Henson, of TN; Cierra Henson of Ezel, KY; Katelyn Campbell and Ben Gambill of Hazard, KY; Step grandchildren: Kimberly Adkins, Nikki Adkins, Dakota Maines, Jonathon Maines, Khloe Lewis and Kendall Lewis. He is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, Bowling Road, Whick Lick Branch Road, Jackson, KY with Krouc Noble officiating. Visitation will begin at Noon on Saturday at the church. Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
