Andrew Hurt, age 69, of Jackson, KY passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at the Kentucky River Medical Center in Jackson, KY. He was born November 25, 1956, in Jackson, KY and was the son of the late Clarence Hurt and the late Adelia Childers Strong. He also was preceded in death by one daughter, Amanda Hurt, partner, Wanda Sue Miller, brothers, Henry Hurt, Kenneth Hurt and Ricky Hurt, one grandson, Bryan Noble.

He is survived by his sons, Christopher Rupert (Shannon) of North Judson, IN, Andrew Hurt, Jr. of Jackson, KY, one daughter, Rebecca Trejo (John) of Van Wert, OH, sisters, Stella Hurt and Marie Parks both of Morehead, KY, brothers, Edward Hurt of North Hudson, IN, Lacy Miller of Jackson, KY, grandchildren, Brittnay Hurt, Courtney Hurt, Nova Rupert, Gage Rupert, Hanna Noble, Journey Trejo, Jersey Trejo and Seth Noble.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at 12:00 pm. at the Southfork United Baptist Church with Justin Smith officiating. Burial in the Howard Cemetery, Southfork, Jackson, KY. Visitation will be Tuesday at 5:00 pm. at the Southfork United Baptist Church.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
