Wiley Turner, age 79, of Houston, KY passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2021, at the St. Joseph Hospital in London, KY.-He was born December 9, 1941, in Houston, KY, and was the son of the late Lester and Lucy Noble Turner. – Wiley was a retired teacher and farmer.- He was a member of the Old Regular Turkey Creek Baptist Church. – He was a past master of the Breathitt County Lodge # 649 and Booneville Masonic Lodge # 939 and a member of the York Rite Bodies.- He loved to study his bible every day. – He will be greatly missed by his family and community. – He was also preceded in death by his brother: Willie Turner.- He is survived by his wife: Betty Taylor Turner of Houston, KY.-His children: Robert Lester Turner of Morehead, KY;-Wiley Thomas (Amber) Turner of Lexington, KY. – One sister-in-law: Nettie Turner of Houston, KY.- He is also survived by a host of other family members and friends.-Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at 6:00 PM at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Paul Turner officiating.- Visitation will begin on Tuesday at 4:00 pm until the time of service.-Deaton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
