Roosevelt Roberts, age 87, of Jackson, KY passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2020, at the Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, KY.-He was born November 20, 1932, in Breathitt County, KY and was the son of the late Alfred and Susie (Spicer) Roberts.-He was preceded in death by wife: Geneva Branson Roberts.- Sisters: Jane Gilbert and Etta Bell Spicer.-Brother: Howard, Delbert, McCreary, Buford and J.H. Roberts. -He was a retired school teacher in the Breathitt County and Kenton County School systems.-He was a US Army Veteran.-Memorial services will be held at a later date.-Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
