Martha Herald Hudson, age 55, of Jackson, KY passed away on Friday, June 9, 2017 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY.–She was born July 10, 1961 in Perry County, KY and was the daughter of the late Sam S. and Pattie (Watts) Herald.–She was preceded in death by one sister: Gracie Lynn Cundiff; –Three brothers: Wilgus Gabbard, JR.; Charles Cundiff and David Herald.–Two special great nieces: Ericka Herald and Kayla Harvey.– She is survived by her husband: Gerald Hudson of Jackson, KY.–One daughter: Trish Roberts of Richmond, KY.–Four sons: Richard Douglas (Angie) Oaks of Jackson, KY.–David Hudson and Dougie Hudson of Jackson, KY.–Calvin (Stephanie) Hudson of Jackson, KY.–Five sisters: Brenda Strong of Columbus, OH; -Marie Ritchie of Morehead, KY.-Mildred (David) Turner of Jackson, KY.-Doris (David) McIntosh of Jackson, KY. – Janie (Jerry) Smith of Jackson, KY.–Three brothers: Jim Walker of Howell, MI;- Richard Herald of Jackson, KY.; -Paul (Lisa) Herald of Hazard, KY.–Six grandchildren: Tanisha Cole, Dylan Hudson, Damian Bush, Daltion Roberts, Jason Oaks, Arthur Oaks.–Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 12, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Bellamy officiating.–Burial in the Watts Family Cemetery at Chenowee Road, Jackson, KY.–Visitation will begin on Sunday at 5:00 p.m. with additional services at 7:00 p.m.–Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
