John Bill (J.B.) Peters, age 60,  of Jackson, KY passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017 at his residence in Jackson, KY.–He was born October 12, 1957 in Jackson, KY and was the son of the late Dillard and Stella Mae (Hall) Peters.–He was a  stock clerk at Wal Mart.–He was preceded in death by his wife: Melda Ann (Baker) Peters.–Two sisters:  Margaret Peters and Mildred Mosley.–Two brothers: Junior Peters and Steve Peters.–He is survived by one daughter:  Cora (Shane) Mullins of Jackson, KY–One son: Jonathan (Valerie) Peters of Clay City, KY.–Three sisters:  Judy Barnett of Frenchburg, KY–Mary Peters and Janice Turner of Jackson, KY–Six brothers:  Frank (Cora Lynn) Peters; Dillard (Gearldine) Peters; Ronald Peters; all of Jackson, KY–Jonas (Bonnie) Peters of Canton, MI.–Ray (Brenda) Peters of Argos, IN–Roy Peters of Somerset, KY–Four granddaughters and three grandsons.–Special Friends:  Co-workers of Wal Mart.–He is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.–Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Bellamy officiating.–Burial in the Jackson Cemetery.–Visitation will begin on Saturday at 5:00 p.m.–Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.–Pallbearers: Friends of the family.
