Joel Stephen Combs, age 63, of Jackson, KY passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at the Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, KY.-He was born March 6, 1956 in Jackson, KY and was the son of the late Leo Frank and Arlene (Hollon) Combs.-He was preceded in death by one sister: Sallie Ruth Combs.-Five brothers: Donnie Combs, Leo Combs, Dwain Combs, Larry Combs and Paul Combs.-He is survived by one daughter: LaShanda Combs of Jackson, KY-One son: Stephen Combs of Jackson, KY-Two sisters: Leatrice (Levon) Graves of Jackson, KY-Martha  (Joe) Profitt of War Creek, KY.- One brother: Ronnie (Pat) Combs of Walled Lake, MI.-Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Doug Finley officiating.-Burial in Jackson Cemetery.-Visitation to begin on Saturday at 5:00 p.m.-Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
