James William Haddix, 72, husband of 53 years to Linda (Slone) Haddix, passed away Friday, May 31, 2019 at his home in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. Born November 16, 1946 in Breathitt County, KY, James was the son of the late Silas B. Haddix and Delcie Mae (Cornett) Haddix.–James was a retired clerk with the U.S. Postal Service and a member of Hope Community Church.–Including his wife, James is survived by his two children, James Steven (Vickie) Haddix and Leslie H. (Carl) Sparrow; 6 grandchildren, James Michael (Jacyln) Haddix, Jonathan (Vanessa) Haddix, Alex (Clay) Sparrow, Shea (Jess) Sparrow, Worth (Casey) Sparrow, and Jina Sparrow; 5 great grandchildren, Kate Haddix, Hayden Haddix, Parker Haddix, Jake Haddix, and Payton Sparrow, countless nieces, nephews, and friends.–Visitation will be held on Monday, June 3rd from 10 a.m.- 12 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 12 p.m. at Hope Community Church, 5930 U.S. 127, Frankfort, KY.
