James Edward “Blue” Hudson, age 74, of Hardshell, KY passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at the KY River Medical Center in Jackson, KY. He was born May 26, 1949 at Hardshell, KY and was the son of the late Bill and Ruby Mearl Miller Hudson. He was preceded also in death by brothers: Jerry Wayne Hudson and Kenneth Clay Hudson. His sisters: Laura Jean Noble, Betty Jo Hudson, Doris Kaye Combs and Jacqueline Rose Back. He was member of the Little Buckhorn Community Church at Hardshell, KY. He is survived by his brother: Charles Michael Hudson of Hardshell, KY. Three sisters: Billie Jean Grob of Lexington, KY. Adna Mae (Doug) Noble of Lost Creek, KY and Donna Combs of Hardshell, KY. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 23, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Oat Marshall officiating. Burial in the Little Noble Cemetery at Hardshell, KY. Visitation will be Monday at 11:00 am until time of service. Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
