Worked with Homer and Toni his son. Very fine man and great family. Just today learned of his passing. Sure do miss the days we all worked together in the mines for our families. Was hard work and long days but the memories last forever. They called me cracker on the job in those days. Put a nick name on just about everybody. Homer drive a rock truck then and switched off to a D11 dozer. Very good operator and even better man. In Heaven now with his brothers. They sure love the Lord and their character shinned the light for Jesus Christ. Well done my good and faithful servant.

Am saddened to hear of Homer's passing. We go back a long, long way as we were classmates and good friends at Quicksand Grade and Breathitt High. I remember fondly how Homer loved playing guard for the Quicksand Tigers in 1960. May my good friend rest in peace.
