I was shocked and saddened to hear of Hagger's passing. Even though we haven't kept in touch with each other as we are living our adult lives, I Truley feel very close to the whole Rice family. All the priceless memories of the vacations we spent together when we were young. I am so sorry I couldn't have came to Hagger's service. I pray God comfort you each and every one at this trying time. Love you guys always.

I wish someone could explain it to me why it seems that all of the good ones get taken way to soon, but I know were not suppose to question why. I sure can say one thing and know it to be true, there will never be another dear friend like Hager. He could brighten your day just by talking to you and that contagious smile, I will never forget it, nor him. I haven't seen Hager in many years, but I am betting that he was a wonderful family man, and the same sweet friend that I knew from school. My heartfelt sympathies to all of his family, during this time and for the next few days, weeks, and years to come. I am so sorry and sadden that this happened, and will keep you all in my thoughts & prayers. R.I.P Dear Hager you will always be remembered and never forgotten by me, and all of your friends from B.H.S.

It's at these times that we all wish we could say something that would make sense or make things better and really nothing does. I truly wish I could have spent more time with Hager and got to know him. John and Lindsey have only spoken highly of him to me and what a great person he was to them. My thoughts and prayers are with you and all the family as you travel through the next few days and months. Hugs and love to all, Barb

I am at such a loss for words. I have such wonderful memories of our childhood and memories throughout the years. Heaven certainly has gained a special angel. I will miss getting together at family reunions. Pam, you and your family will always be in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you and may God give you the strength to endure the coming days, months and years.

I will miss you forever, my sweet baby brother, Hager, Hagie, Tagie, Hay-Hay, HaHa, Hadder, Poppa. You were the best husband, father, son, friend, and brother anybody could ask her. You were so humble and kind. I will miss your texts to let me know what was going on with my Detroit teams and my Spartans. I know you’re no longer in pain and are enjoying the beauty and peace of Heaven. I’m glad we’ll get to see you again soon. Love, Susie, Thoothe, Suze, Snooze, Toot

My dear, sweet brother...it's far too early for us to say goodbye. I know that you knew how very much I love you, and you, me. My heart... I will miss our talks and silly jokes and your grill cooking :). I'll miss your contagious laugh. You are one of the truly good guys. I'm sure that you're rejoicing in heaven with our loved ones that have gone before. We all love you. I'll see you on the other side. Love, Angie

I have so many memories of this wonderful man I wouldn't know where to begin. We spent many days together in our younger days and formed a special friendship. Over the last 2months we had reached out to one and after losing a mutual friend and made plans to get together to share some old memories. Going to miss him dearly.
