George Otis Johnson, age 66, of Jackson, KY passed away on Thursday,  March 28, 2024 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY.  He was born October 4, 1957 in Seymour, IN and was the son of the late French and Arkie McIntosh Johnson.   He was also preceded in death by two brothers:  French Johnson, Jr. and Robert Johnson.  One step daughter: LaMika Campbell.   George was a Team Lead for Walmart in Jackson, KY.   He is survived by his wife: Beddy Johnson of Jackson, KY.  Two sons: George Christopher Johnson of Booneville, KY and French Charles Johnson of Jackson, KY.  Two step daughters: Lindsey Campbell of Jackson, KY and Keesha Campbell of Mt. Sterling, KY.  Three sisters: Dorothy Caudill and Florence Shouse of Booneville, KY.  Melissa Johnson (Robert Spears) of NC.  Two step grandchildren:  Seth Haddix of Iowa and Aliyah Campbell of Jackson, KY.  He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends and especially his work family at Walmart.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 1, 2024 at Noon at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Albert Little officiating.  Burial in the Johnson Family Cemetery, Highland Road, Athol, KY.  Visitation will begin on Sunday from 5:00-9:00 pm.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
