Elliott Raleigh, age 78, of Wolfcoal, KY passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at the Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, KY..-He was born February 8, 1939 at Talbert, KY and was the son of the late James and Martha (Deaton) Raleigh.–Elliott was a retired Dept. of Highways employee.–He was also preceded in death by one daughter: Teresa Ann Raleigh.–Grandson: Terry Cole.–Three sisters: Faye Raleigh, Elsie Johnson and Polly Walker. –Six brothers:  Tommy Raleigh, Luther Raleigh, Dan Raleigh, Cale Raleigh, Joe Raleigh, Ray Raleigh.–He is survived by his wife: Jennie (Herald) Raleigh of Wolfcoal, KY–One daughter: Debbie (Dennis) Cole of Wolfcoal, KY.-Two brothers:  Henry Raleigh of Talbert, KY-Leonard Raleigh of Alexandria, KY–One grandson: Michael (Kelli) Cole of Jackson, KY-One great grandson: Michael Lee Cole.–Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Silas Hall, Paul Hall, Jesse Hall, JR officiating.-Burial in the Raleigh Cemetery at Wolfcoal, KY–Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.–Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
