Daisy Miller Barnett, age 74, of Jackson, KY passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, KY of an extended illness.  She was born January 22, 1952, at Noble, KY and was the daughter of the late Johnnie and Audrey Mullins Miller, Sr.  She was also preceded in death by brothers:  Lee (Nancy) Collins, Johnnie (Marcella) Miller, “Bug” Jr.  Carl (Scrub) Miller, Benjamin Miller, James Miller.  Sisters: Delphia (Rudolph) Fraley and Kansas (George) Marshall. Five infant brothers and sisters.  Adam, Chester, David, Lola and Ruth.

She is survived by her husband: Lawrence Jr. Barnett of Jackson, KY.  Her son: Jason Barnett of Jackson, KY.  Her daughter: Stephanie (Jeffrey) Watts of Jackson, KY.  Sisters:  Helen Miller of Beattyville, KY. Rita Faye Burnsworth of Laketon, IN and Lillian Dunn of Berea, KY.  Sister-in-law: Barbara Miller of Buckhorn, KY.  She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Noon at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Justin Smith and Sherman Clemons officiating.  Visitation will begin on Wednesday from 5:00-9:00 pm.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
