Charles Newton Turner, age 65, of Quicksand Road, Jackson, KY passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 due to auto accident on Mountain Parkway in Powell County, KY. He was born March 16, 1951 at Little, KY and was the son of the late Reverend Jimmy and Laura (Sebastian) Turner. He was a long time coal truck driver and a member of Masonic Lodge #649 in Jackson, KY. He was preceded in death by three sisters: Lottie Pink Mae Noble, Eliza Burton. Three brothers: Ashford Turner, Arnold Turner, Corbin Turner. He is survived by his wife: Martha (Landrum) Turner of Jackson, KY. One daughter: Michelle (Mark) Noble of Campton, KY. One son: Charles Uriah (Jenny) Turner of Shepherdsville, KY. Three sisters: Beatrice Watts of Fairborn, OH; Susie Hager of Union, OH; Edna (Kenny) Thomas of Huber Heights, OH. One brother: James (Deloris) Turner, JR of Lexington, KY. Two grandchildren: Abigail Noble and Isabella Noble. Two step grandchildren: Susanna Mae Pascual and Christian Xavier Mitchell. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended Landrum family. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Lige Gross and Virgil Turner officiating. Burial in the Landrum Family Cemetery at Noctor, KY. Visitation will begin on Friday at 5:00 p.m. with Masonic Rites at 7:00 p.m. Pallbearers: Trucking Buddies. Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
