Annie Lue Bowling

Annie Lue Baker Bowling, age 73 of Indianapolis, IN passed away at her residence of June 18, 2026, in Indiana.  She was born June 3, 1953, at Hazard, KY and was the daughter of the late Sherman and Della Mae Gross Baker.  She was also preceded in death by brothers: Alex Baker, Jimmy Baker.  Sister: America Simpkins.

Annie loved to garden and she was involved in her community. in Indianapolis.  She is survived by sisters:  Wilma Strunk of Booneville, KY.  Helen Nantz of Lexington, IN.  Agnes Hall of Jackson, KY, Margie (Matt) Barnett and Amanda Brewer, both of Stanton, KY.  Special brother-in-love:  David W. Baise, Sr of Indianapolis, IN. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, many other relative and friends she cherished in Indianapolis, IN.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 25. 2026 at 1:00 pm at the Jackson Cemetery, Jackson, KY.  Doug Finley officiating.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
