Frankie Turner

Frankie Turner, age 73, of Jackson, KY passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY of an extended illness.  He was born July 14, 1952, at Ary, KY and was the son of the late James and Virginia Callahan Turner.  He was also preceded in death by brothers:  Ova Morris and Jim Morris.  Sisters:  Virginia Hayes and Elaine Bowling.  His granddaughter:  Alexis Combs.

He is survived by three daughters:   Jamie Turner and Sherry Turner of Jackson, KY and Stephanie (Bobby) Thomas of Campton, KY.  Also survived by his first wife:  Patricia Williams.  Five grandchildren:  Krista Back. Kalin Carroll, Haley Back, Samuel Thomas, and John Frank Thomas.  Two great grandchildren:  Rylee Gilbert and Wilson Crockett.  He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with John Bunn officiating.  Burial in Jackson Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Wednesday, from 5:00 pm-9:00 pm.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
