Jackie Lou Reed

Jackie Lou Reed, 75, of Jackson, KY passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at the Owsley County Health and Rehab in Booneville, KY.  She was born February 27, 1950, in Jackson, KY and was the daughter of the late Jesse and Gracie Caudill McQuinn. She also was preceded in death by her husband:  Zephie Reed and daughter: Gracie Elizabeth Reed Couch.  Her brother: Isaac “Ike” McQuinn.   She is survived by one son: Zephie Reed, Jr of Booneville, KY.   Brothers:  James McQuinn, Ernie McQuinn, Bobbie McQuinn and Jessie Bevoy McQuinn.  Sisters:  Nannie Jean Burton, Mary Ann Turner, Linda McIntosh and Brenda Barger.   She is also survived by two grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.   Graveside service was held on Friday, January 2, 2026, at the Lerose Cemetery, Booneville, KY.   Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
