Mary Jo Drain

Mary Jo Cockerham Drain, age 64, of Jackson, KY passed away on Monday, December 1, 2025, at the UK Hospital in Lexington, KY.  She was born May 7, 1961, in Lee County, KY and was the daughter of the late Chester and Betty Spicer Cockerham.  She was also preceded in death by son: Joseph Matthew Fuentes.  Brother: Emmanuel Cockerham.  Sisters:  Darlene McIntosh and Brenda Kidd.  She is survived by three sons:  Nathaniel Drian and Michael Drain, of Saginaw, MI.  Christopher Burgess of Melvin, MI.  Two daughters:  Michelle Burgess of Jackson, KY and Angela Burgess of Holly, MI.  Five brothers:  Robert Cockerham of Jackson, KY.  Alton Cockerham and James Cockerham, of Irvine, KY.  Chester Cockerham, Jr of Booneville, KY and Michael Cockerham of Campton, KY.  Two sisters:  Lena (David) McIntosh of Jackson, KY and Annie Kidd of KY.   She is also survived by a host of other family and friends.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at 4:00 pm at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with David McIntosh officiating.  Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm until time of service.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of services
