Grace Margaret Raleigh

Grace Margaret Raleigh, age 55, of Verona, KY passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2025.  She was born February 4, 1970, in Breathitt County and was the daughter of the late Mose and Clara Strong Herald.  She was also preceded in death by her paternal grandparents:  Allen and Grace Herald and maternal grandparents:  Fitch and Margaret Strong.  She is survived by her husband: Cale Raliegh of Verona, KY.  One son: Christopher Mose Raleigh of Verona, KY.  One Daughter:  Cayla Lynn Pope and husband Dylan of Verona, KY.   A grandchild, Winsley Pope or “Little Sprout” expected in November.  Two brothers: Kenneth Marvin Herald and Glenn Marlen Herald, both of Verona, KY.  She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Noon at the Altro Church of God, Hwy 1110, Jackson, KY with Chris Turner and Albert Little officiating.  Burial in the Raleigh Cemetery at Wolfcoal, KY.  Visitation will begin on Saturday at 5:00 pm at the Altro Church of God.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
