Shirley Faye Johnson

Shirley Faye Johnson, age 73, of Canoe, KY passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at the Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, KY.  She was born September 5, 1951, in OH and was the daughter of the late Ollie James Molands.  She was also preceded in death by one son and one sister.  She is survived by her stepmother:  Cindy Molands of Jackson, KY.  Her granddaughter: Samantha Brunty (Michael Hays) of Canoe, KY.  She is also survived by one daughter, one brother, four other grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 23, 2025, at Noon at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Estill Barnett officiating.  Burial in the Molands Cemetery, Hall Branch Road, of Canoe, KY.  Visitation will begin at 11:00 am Friday until time of service.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
