Ollie Jay Fugate, age 68, of Lost Creek, KY passed away on Sunday, September 08,2024 at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, KY.  He was born February 2, 1956, at Haddix, KY and was the son of the late Pearl and Margaret Spicer Fugate.  He was also preceded in death by brothers:  Sam Fugate, Matthew Fugate, Jerry Fugate, Pearl Jr. Fugate.  His sister: Sylvia Turner.   He is survived by two brothers:  Harlan (Dora) Fugate and Donald Gene (Georgia) Fugate, both of Jackson, KY.  Three sisters:  Haney Gross, Debbie Bandfield and Cora (Jim) Fraley, all of Jackson, KY.  He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at 11:00 am at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Kenneth Noble officiating.  Burial in the Fugate Family Cemetery, Duck Hollow Road, Lost Creek, KY.  Visitation will begin on Wednesday from 5:00-8:00 pm.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
