Mitchell Lee Johnson, age 71, of Sebastians Branch, KY passed away on Monday, June 17, 2024 at his residence.  He was born March 4, 1953 at Turners Creek, KY.  He was preceded in death by his father: Andrew Johnson and his mother: Geneva Cole Johnson and step- father: Fred Johnson.  He was also preceded in death by his wife: Joyce Kaye Griffith Johnson.  His brother: Paul Johnson.  His sister: Freda Skaggs and daughter in law: Tonya Johnson.  He is survived by three sons: Michael (Shell) Johnson of London, KY; Terry (Charli) Johnson of Morehead, KY and Anthony (Felicia) Johnson of Sebastians Branch, KY.  His step mother: Arminda Johnson.  His grandchildren:  Tate (Shanna) Johnson, Houston Wilson, Tadd Johnson, Emilee Johnson, Kyndal Johnson.  His siblings:  Helen (Clarence Jr.) Gabbard, Jalia Nelson (John), Carolyn Burns, Lake Rayls, Nancy Rose (Roy), Delcie Young, Anna Combs (Cova), Nancy Johnson, Brenda Collins (Phillip), Larry Johnson, Fred Johnson (Tammy), Phillip Johnson (Shelly), Mark Johnson (Javier), Andrew Johnson Jr. (Lois), Paul Johnson (Marie), Scott Johnson, Danny Johnson.  He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other relatives and friends.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Macedonia Old Regular Baptist Church at 6126 Hwy 315 Booneville, KY 41314 at Sebastians Branch, KY with Pat Turner and Jesse Turner officiating.  Burial in the Johnny Griffith Cemetery at Sebastians Branch, KY.  Visitation will begin Wednesday at 5:00 pm at the Macedonia Church.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
