Mary Ann Neal, aged 84, passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2024, in McMinnville, Tennessee.  Born on November 21, 1939, Mary led a life marked by gentleness, kindness, and love, traits that endeared her to all who knew her.

Mary is survived by a loving family:  her daughters, Gail Huff (Brian) and Kim Best (Eric); her siblings, Julie Hall, Beckey Fugate, Sue Fugate, Maxine Parks, Walker Johnson, Cecil Johnson, Ed Johnson, Lee Johnson, and Anthony Johnson; and her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Evon Johnson; her husband, Morris Taulbee; her siblings, Bettey McIntosh, Julius Johnson, Wilma Barnett, and Nellie Johnson.

Services to honor Mary’s life will be held at Deaton Funeral Home on Saturday, October 19, 2024.   Visitation will begin at 10:30 AM followed by the funeral service at Noon with Lee Johnson officiating.  Interment will be in the family Johnson Cemetery, Robinson Fork Road, Jackson, KY.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Mary’s gentle spirit and loving nature will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
