Marcella Bernice Griffith Clemons, age 86, of Hardshell, KY, went to be with her Lord on Monday,  August 3, 2020, at her residence.-She was born July 16, 1934, in Floyd County, KY. -She worked several years for the Barr Rubber Products Co. in Sandusky, OH.-She was the daughter of the late Elbert and Rose (Rosie) Zella Nolen Griffith.- She was also preceded in death by her husband of 54 years: Will Henry Clemons, three sons: Earl Clemons, Calvin Clemons, and Robert Clemons.-One grandson: Jimmy Clemons and two sons in law: Arnold Mullins and Robert “Bob” Willis.- Four sisters: Carrie Mullins, Sallie McKee, Magline Moore and Anna Mae Griffith.-Four brothers:  Melvin, James, Lee Junior, and Woodrow.- She is survived by to sons: Billy (Minerva) Clemons and Larry (Loretta) Clemons of Jackson, KY.-Four daughters: Joyce Willis of Hazard, KY.-Patricia Mullins (Frank Waller) of Knoxville, TN; Katherine Cockrell of London, KY; Betty Mason (Chris) of Taylorsville, GA. -One sister: Nancy Jones of Knott Co. KY.-She is also survived by a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren and great- great  grandchildren.-Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 7, 2020, at Noon at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Gene Fugate officiating.-Burial in the George Fugate Cemetery at Clayhole, KY.-Visitation will begin on Thursday from 5:00 pm-9:00 pm.-Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.-COVID-19  guidelines to be observed.
