James McIntosh, age 89, of Bean Fork Road, Jackson, KY passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at Hazard ARH.   He was born February 28, 1935, in Perry County, KY and was the son of the late Perry and Maggie Hollon McIntosh.  He was preceded also in death by his son: David McIntosh.  Brothers:  Charlie McIntosh, John McIntosh and Floyd McIntosh.  He is survived by his wife: Sarah Mae Turner McIntosh of Jackson, KY.  Son: James McIntosh (Ruby McIntosh) of Beattyville, KY.  Two daughters:  Brenda McIntosh of Lima, OH and Mary McIntosh of Jackson, KY.  One brother: Roy McIntosh of Lima, OH and two sisters:  Elizabeth McDonald of Lima, OH and Dora Turner of Beattyville, KY.  He is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many other friends and relatives.  Graveside services will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at 12 pm Noon at the Sid Jett Cemetery, Athol, KY with Roger B. Turner officiating.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.  Pallbearers: Family and Friends.
