James Leonard Mullins, age 80, of Davis Fork, Vancleve, KY passed away at his residence on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, of an extended illness.  He was born April 03, 1945, in Breathitt County, KY and was the son of the late Franklin and Elizabeth Smith Mullins. Leonard was a retired schoolteacher in the Breathitt County school system.   He was preceded also in death by his beloved sister: Wanda Beatrice Mullins.  He is survived by his brother: Franklin (Donna) Mullins, Jr of Vancleve, KY.  He is also survived by a host of many friends.   Private graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at the Mullins Family Cemetery, Davis Fork, Vancleve, KY with Rick Howard officiating.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
