To Robert, Lena, Alberta and the many others who were privileged to know Hilda. I am a friend from many years ago and have many fond memories of hanging out with her, singing together and working together. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Robert and with the Allen family. Hilda was my friend, my neighbor and my sister in Christ. She will be missed by many. She has touched so many people in her life. I knew her when her mom and dad would bring her and her sisters to my grandmother’s (Sarah Fugate) house for singing and Sunday dinner when we all were young. I admired her then to get up and sing in front of all those people and I still do to this day. She went on to college and made a career out of helping people. She gave so much of herself to others. She will most definitely be missed. I love you! Sammy and I will miss you but we will see you in heaven someday!
