Geneva Grigsby, age 96, of London, KY and formerly of Jackson passed away on Friday, August 22, 2025, at the Laurel Heights for the Elderly in London, KY of an extended illness.  She was born October 31, 1928, in Allock, KY in Perry County and was the daughter of the late Andy B. and Mary Jane Hudson Marshall.  She was preceded in death also by her husband: Herman Grigsby and her son: Neil Grigsby.  Her brothers:  James Marshall, Oscar Marshall, John Henry Marshall, Junior Marshall, Robert Marshall and Melvin Marshall.  Her sisters: Cynthia Combs, Adna Welch, Melda Haddix and Eva Jordan.  She is survived by her daughter: Deborah Combs of London, KY.  One granddaughter:  Laura Combs of Lexington, KY.  One brother: Hoy (Billie) Marshall of Noble, KY.  She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Estill Barnett officiating.  Burial in the Grigsby Cemetery, Quicksand Road, Jackson, KY.  Visitation will begin on Sunday at 11:00 am until time of service.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
