Edward Stamper, age 91, of Longs Creek Road, Morris Fork, KY passed away on Monday, March 5, 2019 at his residence.  He was born October 7, 1926 in Breathitt County, KY and was the son of the lat Elijah and Amanda (Amis) Stamper.  He was preceded in death by his wife: Mary (Kennedy) Stamper.   Two sisters: Edna Eversole and Marie Herald.   One brother: John Wesley Stamper, JR.  He is survived by one son: Stephen Edward  (Shelia) Stamper of St. Helens, KY.   One daughter: Janice Ann Stamper of Morris Fork, KY.  One grandson: Matthew Stamper of St. Helens, KY.   Ed is also survived by nieces and nephews, extended family, and many beloved friends.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Phillip Swartzentruber and Jerry Utt officiating.  Burial in the Stamper Cemetery at Longs Creek Road, Morris Fork, KY.   Visitation will begin on Saturday from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.   Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Bluegrass Hospice, 57 Dennis Sandlin MD Cove, Hazard, KY 41701.  plant flowers in the spring, hang a wind chime listening to the breeze,  plant seeds,  tend a garden,  listen to music,  and go on dancing.  A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at the Morris Fork Chapel at Morris Fork, KY
