Ina Mae Shelton, age 74, of Jackson, KY passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2021, at the Hazard ARH in Hazard, KY.- She was born January 16, 1947, in Erie, PA, and was the daughter of the late Walter and Elizabeth Robinson Oaks.-She was also preceded in death by her husband: Stewart Shelton.- Her brothers: Alonso Turner and J.D. Oaks.-She is survived by her daughters: Juanita Shelton (Shawn) of Interlachen, FL and Teresa Brewer (Jerry) of Jackson, KY.- Her son: Stewart (Josie) Shelton of Fort White, FL- Her sisters: Betty Oaks of Morehead, KY and Janis Johnson of Jackson, KY.- Special Friend: Tommy Henson.- Grandchildren: Alisa Clemons, Rick Wilder, Adrianne Clay, Jamison Clay, Matthew Wilmore, Heather Shelton, Zachary Hall, John Hall- Great-grandchildren: Alexis Clemons, Olivia Clemons, Ty Clemons, Matthew Smith.-Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at Noon at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Estill Barnett officiating.-Burial in Jackson Cemetery.-Visitation will begin on Tuesday from 5:00-9:00 pm.-Deaton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.-Pallbearers: Stewart Shelton, Heather Shelton, Andy Clay, Jamison Clay, Ricky Wilder, Ty Clemons.- Honorary pallbearers: Tommy Henson, Jonathan Robinson, Zachary Hall, John Hall, Shawn Carter, Jerry Lewis, Ottis Clemons.- Due to Covid-masks are requested to be worn, but not mandatory.
