Pearlie Raleigh Laytart, age 94, of Newport, KY and formerly of Wolfcoal, KY passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2021, at her residence in Newport, KY.-She was born February 6, 1927, at Wolfcoal, KY, and was the daughter of the late Sammie and Jalie Spicer Raleigh.-She was preceded also in death by her husband: Homer Laytart. Her sister: Carlene Herald.- Brothers: Ervine Raleigh, Charlie Raleigh, Verdie Raleigh, Vernis Raleigh, Virgil Raleigh, and Carl Raleigh.-She is survived by sisters: Juanita (Alex) Turner and Sharon Herald of Wolfcoal, KY; Janis (Wayne) Raleigh of Newport, KY.- Brothers: Clyde (Reba) Raleigh of Newport, KY; Don (Carolyn) Raleigh, Leonard Raleigh and Sammie (Ruth) Raleigh of Wolfcoal, KY; Kenneth (Emma) Raleigh of Walton-Verona, KY and Darrell (Tammy) Raleigh of Campton, KY.-She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.-Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at 11:00 am at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Jesse Jr Hall officiating.- Burial in the Raleigh Cemetery, Wolfcoal, KY.-Visitation will begin at 10:00 am on Wednesday until the time of service.-Deaton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
