Ray Richardson

Ray Richardson, age 93, of Hwy 1110 Haddix, KY passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021, at the Hazard ARH.- He was born May 15, 1927, at Haddix, KY, and was the son of the late Leonard and Bessie (Gray) Richardson. Ray and his brother are well-known carpenters in Breathitt County and surrounding areas.-He was preceded also in death by two brothers and sisters in law: Roy and Ann Richardson.- Bobbie Lee and Dora Richardson. -Two sisters and brothers-in-law: Cordelia and John Napier and Lois Marie Smith (Bob) Craig.- He is survived by one sister: Sallie (Sam) Strong of Saldee, KY, and one brother: Daniel Richardson of Haddix, KY.-One brother in law: Larry Smith.-He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends-Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2021, at 1:00 pm at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Bellamy and Kenneth Noble officiating.-Burial in the Haddix Cemetery, INC at Haddix, KY.-Visitation will begin on Wednesday from 6:00-9:00 pm. -Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.: Pallbearers: Family and friends.-COVID-19 regulations to be observed.
