Donald Ray Strong

Donald Ray Strong, age 67, of Jackson, KY passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at his residence in Jackson, KY. He was born March 27, 1949 in Jackson, KY and was the son of the late Mitchell and Ada (Dunn) Strong. He was preceded in death by one sister: Garnett Wilson. One half sister: Addie Marie Adams and one brother: J. Wise Strong. He is survived by five sisters: Doris Jean White of Kankakee, IL; Dorothy (William) Moore of Jackson, KY; Mary Katherine Forbes of Roxboro, NC; Barbara Ann Campbell of Columbus, OH; Cherrylen (James) Holliday of Lawrence, IN. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Emmitt Campbell officiating. Burial in the Jackson Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Friday, June 24, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. with additional services at 7:00 p.m. Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
