Sabrina Alexandra McCausland, age 23, of Oxford, North Carolina and formerly of Newport, KY passed away on Friday, May 22, 2020, at Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, North Carolina.-She was born December 13, 1996, in Cincinnati, OH and was the daughter of the late John Mitchell McCausland.-She was also preceded in death by her maternal grandfather: Lloyd Deaton. Paternal grandfather: Jesse Cole. Uncle David Cole.-She is survived by mother: Vickie Lynn Deaton of Richmond, KY.-Maternal grandmother: Jean Deaton, New Jersey.-Paternal grandmother: Rosalie Cole, Newport, KY.-One sister: Maranda Nicole McCausland, Newport, KY.-Aunts: Janice (Charles) Adams, Newport, KY; Terri (David) Stahl of Independence, KY; Patricia Cole, Buckhorn,KY.-Uncles: Jesse (Jennifer) Cole, Jr.; Collinsville, OK; Jerry Cole Newport, KY.-Fiance: Austin Thomas: Oxford, NC. She is also survived by a host of cousins and other relatives.-Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2020, at Noon at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Chris Turner and Calvin Eash officiating.-Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.– In lieu of flowers, donations requested by made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org)-COVID-19 and CDC guidelines are to be followed.
