Nanny Bell (Banks) Hurley, of Sturgis, KY passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2020, at the Morganfield Nursing and Rehab.in Union County, KY. She was born December 17, 1930, in Perry County, KY and was the daughter of the late Berlin and Lillie Mae (Vires) Banks.-She was the widowed wife of Stanley Hurley.-Also preceded in death by one daughter: Lola Jean Thomas.-Two sons: Bill Hurley and Ronald Hurley.- Two sisters: Bessie Nichols and Melissa Combs. Six brothers: Miles Combs, JR, Luther Combs, George Combs, Pearl Vernon Combs, Harvey Banks, and O.G. Banks -She is survived by two daughters: Lula (Scott) Harmon of FL and Joyce Hurley of Sturgis, KY.-Two sons: Johnny (Shirley) Hurley of Millersburg, IN and Lonnie Hurley of Constantine, MI.-One daughter in law: Dawn Hurley of Sturgis, KY.-Thirteen grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, many other relatives, and friends. -Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2020, at Noon at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Tom Lorimer officiating.-Burial in the Jackson Cemetery.-Visitation will begin at 10:00 am Wednesday.-Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. |
