Willie Herald

Willie “Bill” Herald, age 62, of Jackson, KY passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2020, at the Hazard ARH.-He was born August 12, 1957, in Breathitt County, KY and was the son of the late Robin and Jane (Griffith) Herald.-He was also preceded in death by one sister: Bertie Gross.-Two brothers: Johnny Herald and Robin Herald, Jr.-Two brothers in law: Arnold White and Sammie Turner.-He is survived by his wife: Shirley Herald of Jackson, KY.-Three sons: Willie Nicholas (Cindy) Herald of Clay City, KY; Brian Herald (Shanna Mullins) and Anthony Dale Herald of Jackson, KY.-Five sisters: Mary Lizzie (Amon) Back of Stanton, KY; Gracie White of Austin, IN; Polly Turner of Fairborn, OH; Nancy (Denny) Hatton of North Vernon, IN; Betty (Mike) Addison of Henderson, KY.-Two brothers: Arthur Clay (Tammie) Herald of Dayton, OH; Teddy (Mary) Herald of Jackson, KY. -Special sisters in law:  Mary Lou Herald, Martha Mae Herald, and special brother in law: Frank Gross.-Four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 24, 20202 at 1:00 p.m. with Pat Turner officiating.-Burial in the Griffith Cemetery at Sebastians Branch, KY.-Visitation will begin on Thursday at 5 pm.-Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
