Homer Bailey

Homer “Blue Rock” Bailey, age 74, of Lambric, KY passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2020, at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY.-He was born December 9, 1945, at Decoy, KY and was the son of the late Jack and Elizabeth (Vanderpool) Bailey.-He was preceded in death by six sisters:  Hezline Howard, Madline Howard, Mable Miller, Vina Slone, Wanda Lee Bailey, Eileen Bailey.-Three brothers: Grover Bailey, Robert Bailey, and Kindle Bailey. He is survived by one son: Issac “Ike” Vires of Perry County, KY.-Two sisters: Pearlie (Odis) Trusty of Lambric.-Gladys Mullins of South Whitney, IN.-One brother: Hobert (April) Bailey of Guage, KY.- One grandson: Isiah Vires of Salyersville, KY.- Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020, at Noon at Church of Decoy, Decoy, KY with Justin Smith and Sherman Clemons officiating.-Burial in the Bradley Cemetery, Decoy, KY.- Visitation will begin on Friday at 4:00 PM at the Church.-Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
